Dear colleagues and all mental health professionals,
It is my honor to send you greetings on the occasion of the World Psychiatric Association Regional Meeting and invite you to this exciting meeting in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 3-5 November 2011. The main theme of this scientific meeting will be “Asian mental health: current and future perspectives”. It is an honor to have this opportunity to share the mental health promotion in Asia with different experts from Taiwan and abroad.
Kaohsiung is a modern harbor city with very nice sunshine and friendly citizens in Southern Taiwan. The meeting will be held at the landmark of Kaohsiung, an 85-floor building that was one of the tallest buildings in the world. It is located by the Kaohsiung harbor and is only 20 minutes drive from the international airport.
Different mental health disciplines coordinate closely in Taiwan since the early 1960s. We would like to share great experiences and research from all these mental health workers in terms of promoting mental health in Asian countries.
We look forward to welcoming you to Taiwan in November 2011.
