- Individual Memberships
- Regular Individual Members – Every regular and enlisted psychiatrist member of a Member Society is de facto a regular individual member of the WPA.
- Special Individual Members – A qualified psychiatrist may apply for Special Individual Membership of the WPA if he/she resides in a country without a Member Society.

NOTES ON INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS
Regular, Special and Affiliated Individual Members and Fellows are expected to participate in the activities and scientific meetings of the Association, to share the goals of the WPA and to adhere to its ethical standards (i.e., the Madrid Declaration and other WPA ethical documents).
Special and Affiliated Individual Members and Fellows are entitled to receive information directly on the activities of the Association and will receive other services according to the By-laws and to the decisions of as decided by the WPA Executive Committee.
Regular, Special and Affiliated Individual Members and Fellows have no voting rights.
