The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) has a busy annual conference schedule that promises something for everyone. WPA members are warmly invited to attend our events. Key conferences for 2012 include:

RANZCP 2012 Congress

20-24 May 2012. Venue: Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart, Tasmania

With a theme of ‘Cells, Circuits and Syndromes’ the RANZCP’s annual Congress brings together a wide range of mental health experts across cultures and specialties with this year’s keynote speakers including:

  • Prof. Ulrick Malt (Norway)
  • Prof. Robert Ursano (USA)
  • Prof. Ed Bullmore (UK)
  • Prof. Mark Sols (South Africa)

There is the opportunity to visit Hobart’s critically acclaimed Museum of Old and New Art for the Congress’ welcome reception and to attend the Congress dinner on a wharf overlooking the harbour and the finish line of the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
