EPA Itinerant CME Course in Bosnia and Herzegovina

 

EPA Itinerant CME Course „How to develop a programme against stigma and discrimination because of schizofrenia“ was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on November 12, 2016 as a part of Scientific Programme of the XV Psychiatric Days of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Course provoked great interest and this year we had 32 attendees from 13 cities. Course Director, Professor Norman Sartorius gave broad picture of actual and new paradigms considering stigma and discrimination of the people living with schizophrenia accross the world. The Course was held on local languages and Professor Sartorius invited two local co-directors with experience in the field (Dr. Goran Račetović and Selma Kukić). The Course was organized in collaboration of the European Psychiatric Association and Psychiatric Association of Bosnia-Herzegovina
