RANZCP 2017 Congress, Adelaide, Australia 30 April – 4 May 2017
‘Speaking our minds. Telling our stories’, the annual Congress of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, 30 April – 4 May 2017. An exciting and comprehensive scientific program is lead by international keynote speakers, Professor Anthony Bateman (UK), Professor Sir Mason Durie (New Zealand), Professor Navneet Kapur (UK), Dr Charles Kellner (USA), Commissioner Professor Helen Milroy (Aus), and Professor Dame Til Wykes (UK).
In addition, an impressive cohort of invited speakers will represent a diverse range of psychiatric subspecialties including child & adolescent, consultation-liaison, forensic, intellectual and developmental disabilities, leadership & management, old age, psychotherapy and youth mental health. The program will feature nineteen pre-congress workshops covering an array of sub-specialties and interest areas; two debates; clinical updates on anxiety disorders, PTSD, and psychotherapy; and an Asia Pacific Mental Health Forum. RANZCP President Prof Malcolm Hopwood will complete his term and Prof Kym Jenkins will take over as the new President at the Adelaide Congress.
