Occupational Psychiatry is specialty of psychiatry primarily concerned with worker, , executive, psychologist, and industrial physicians etc.

Recently the role of industrial physicians is getting bigger in many countries. And these doctors sometimes must introduce workers who are suffering from mental disorders to introduce special clinical and hospitals. In addition, the role of psychiatrists also getting bigger than before because some mental disorders like depression was recognizing as treat care disorder than a few decades ago.

 

Historically, Accident, Alcoholism and Absents was 3A issues in Occupational health. However according to great numbers of prevalence of mental disorders, how to treat and rework to work places became big problem. The atmosphere of working places is also changing by remote work.

 

In this section, firstly, we must clarify the problems of recent work places to make pleasant work places. Secondly, we must clarify features which were observed commonly work place and propose desirable treatment for them.

Thirdly, we must propose work styles which are suitable for the times.

 

Lastly, we hold the symposium about issues concerning occupational mental health including above mentioned things.
