Building Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing During COVID-19

In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, a focus on Mental Health remains a higher priority than ever. The pandemic has taken a toll on people’s mental health, and it is not difficult to see worried faces, especially those with the prevailing conditions of mental Illness. While staying physically safe is of utmost importance, one cannot rule out the importance of maintaining positive mental wellbeing for healthy coping.

To cater to the growing concerns and extreme stresses of people, we’ve dedicated an entire webpage on our website with a compiled reliable resource pool (Videos, Infographics, etc.) for better health of the mind amidst the spread of Coronavirus-19. The videos are made keeping in mind the authentic, scientific as well as must-have information around COVID-19 for people so they feel more prepared & less panicky.

Carefully scripted and delivered by the experts, the long video series format took into consideration the diverse mental health issues that were heavily triggered due to COVID-19. Depression, Interpersonal Relationships, Parenting, Taking Care of Elderly, Anger Management amongst others were talked about in detail to provide guidance to audiences across.

The inspiration for putting the content out was the behavior and likeliness of people being accustomed to consuming more & more of Audio-Visual content. The resources are available to both English and Hindi speaking audiences; are also part of a broader range of information connected to the health of the mind on our web and Social Media. (Youtube, Facebook and Instagram).

Founders, Dr. Avdesh Sharma, a Wellbeing Psychiatrist and Dr. Sujatha D. Sharma, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist have an extensive, yet markedly different experience in the field of Mental Health. The resources available on the Mind Specialists website are equally varied and aim to transform conversations, ensuring every person knows what mental health is, and that they have access to resources, knowledge, management and a supportive community to help them achieve their maximum potential, and lead enriched lives.
