Dear Friends,
We are both delighted and excited to bring you the first edition of "WPA Review" where, each quarter, we will take a look back at the great work and news from all our member societies and components.
The past eighteen months have been incredibly challenging for everyone on a number of levels. It has also shown us how important it is that information is freely distributed and easily accessible, and this was one of our key motivations to re-launch the WPA newsletter. Our newsletter will be a quarterly review and will provide the perfect opportunity to for us to share insights and experiences as we continue our essential work to address the mental health implications of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
One positive to come out of the pandemic is our openness to embrace new technologies and approaches to working. This is why our new newsletter is an eNewsletter. All WPA components will receive the newsletter per email and short reports will be featured directly in the email, with images and links to full stories. The components in turn, will then distribute the eNewsletter to their memberships.
Whether it is news from the Action Plan, a reading recommendation or an update on the upcoming WPA events, the first edition of our eNewsletter (WPA Review - Q2) has something for everyone. With over 50 reports, it is packed full of interesting and inspiring stories from all corners of the world. You can read the WPA Review - Q2 newsletter here.
Don't miss the submission deadline for the next edition of our eNewsletter!
The submission deadline for our Q3 edition is: 10th September 2021.
If you would like to submit a report, please carefully read the “Steps to submitting your contributions” here. Please note, reports not adhering to the guidelines will not be accepted.
