Take advantage of a wealth of opportunities to learn from the latest research data, the best experts in all fields of mental health, high-quality scientific content, and relevant peer-to-peer networking
Following the pandemic, it is no surprise that people are keen to return to in-person events and benefit from face-to-face interactions with their friends, colleagues and peers.
Throughout the year, the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) provides a number of unparalleled forums at which psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, patients, carers, and interested parties can meet and discuss some of most important issues of the day. In addition to the annual World Congress of Psychiatry, they also administer several thematic and regional congresses in partnership with local members and associations. Furthermore, WPA also co-sponsors a number of national and specialist meetings that align with its own congress programme, to ensure its members and components are provided with a comprehensive range of learning opportunities the world over.
Drawing leading experts from around the globe, these events provide a practical opportunity for participants to share in cutting-edge research and to discuss how local learnings and experiences might be translated and used in their own communities.
There are a number of WPA congresses taking place in the coming months. Below highlights just a few of them. For a full list of world, thematic, regional and co-sponsored meetings and relevant details, please visit the WPA meetings page here.
