Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits can now be earned on completion of select courses available on the WPA Education Portal.
Users can choose to earn credits on WPA's Telepsychiatry and Supportive Psychotherapy courses for a fee of just USD $15. The courses are also available free-of-charge for those who wish to complete them without earning credits.
The nominal fee for credits is just a fraction of the cost users would normally pay to attend an in-person course providing the same development opportunities. Moreover, the courses can be completed on any day, in any location, and at any time that suits the user.
To complete a course and receive the CPD credits, users simply select the desired course from the ‘Paid CPD Certificates’ category on the Education Portal, make their payment using PayPal, and complete their course. Once users have submitted their course evaluation, they will be able to download their CPD certificate or have it emailed to them as preferred.
Going forward, WPA aims to add more CPD accredited courses to its education portal. In the meantime, members are encouraged to access the many free resources available.
