Last week, partnering with member society The Macedonian Psychiatric Association, the WPA hosted its Thematic Congress for 2019 on Dementia in Ohrid, North Macedonia. The congress brought together colleagues from the local and regional areas to discuss psychiatric and neurological challenges and perspectives. WPA President, Professor Helen Herrman AO, was honoured to give the opening lecture of the meeting, Partnerships in Dementia Care Worldwide. A highlight of the event was the presence of First Lady, Elizabeta Pendarovska at the opening ceremony. More to come.
